Christian Leadership Training In Africa
Great news! Countries in Africa, such as Rwanda, are growing quickly and the Kingdom of God is expanding in these nations. People are very receptive to the gospel and churches are meeting many of the needs of their communities. In fact, in terms of evangelism, church attendance and community involvement, the African churches are putting many of the American churches to shame. God is alive and well in Africa!
So how can we help these already thriving minisitries? The #1 need in African churches is trained Christian leaders and pastors. The church is growing fast and people are eager to help lead the congregations in their towns and villages, but very few of them have any formal training in Biblical leadership.
Their expanding ministries are extremely fruitful, but pastors are at risk of burnout and of losing the joy of their ministry. They need a sound, Biblical understanding of how to lead God's Church so that they can continue to reproduce healthy churches throughout the continent of Africa.

Leverage Leadership Book for Pastors In AFrica
Leaders responsible for training other leaders in Rwanda asked Dale to write a short leadership book with group discussion questions that would be relevant for pastors and leaders in Africa. They are now using it as a tool to train pastors and other leaders. They worked with Dale to revise his material to include analogies, stories and examples that resonate with the African culture. It has now been taught in six African countries and translated into many languages!
It met a real need and as a result this Biblical Leadership Curriculum for African Pastors is being used across the continent. It has now been translated into Swahili, African French, Kinyarwanda, Lingala and English. New translations are being added as needed for other countries and regions.

In October 2013, Dale returned to Rwanda in partnership with World Relief to provide onsite Biblical, Christian leadership training to Rwanda's various denominational leaders. Dale also visited Tanzania to deliver another cross-denominational training seminar. The Tanzania training was in conjunction with Reach Global. A coalition of 95 denominations in D.R. Congo began using this training in 2015 and it is spreading to other countries throughout Africa and other parts of the world!
