Dale's Bio

​Dale Burke has 35+ years of experience pastoring at a wide variety of types and sizes of churches from church-plant to mega-church, from new and innovative to those steeped in tradition, and from those in need of recovery to those that are healthy, but want to thrive.

He formed Leverage Leadership in 2012 to formalize his long-standing leadership ministry and investment in the next generation of Christian leaders and pastors in the USA and around the world. 

​

Since 2003, Dale has leveraged his unique mix of ministry experiences to better equip, encourage, and train other pastors and Christian leaders to increase both the effectiveness of their ministries and the joy in their lives. 

​

He spent 15 years as Senior Pastor of the 6,000-member First Evangelical Free Church of Fullerton, California. Here, Dale followed one of his heroes, internationally-known pastor and author Charles Swindoll.

He has pastored churches of every size, as he spent ten years establishing a new church plant in Ohio, then led a historic 100-year-old California congregation for the next seven years, before beginning his fifteen-year service as Senior Pastor of the large church in Fullerton, CA.

​

Biblical truth, clarity, enthusiasm, relevance, and a touch of humor characterize Dale's engaging teaching style as he addresses the practical issues of life and Christian leadership.

Dale and his wife, Becky, have been married for 40+ years and have three adult children, and eight grandchildren.
